Overview

Wynnton Neighborhood Network: 2023 Utility Assistance Snapshot

Guided by our commitment to support our community, we offer utility assistance to prevent disconnections and ease the burden of overdue bills:

  • Service Scope: We assist clients of Georgia Power, Liberty Utilities, and Diverse Power— exclusively for residents of Muscogee County.
  • Assistance Details: We can cover past due balances, specifically addressing the last $100 of the outstanding amount. Our primary objective is to prevent the shut-off of essential services like power, or gas.
  • Application Process: For those seeking aid, we accept applications over the phone from Monday to Friday, between 10am and 12pm. Please note, we cannot assist with pre-pay accounts or if your service has been cut off.
  • 2023 in Review: Last year was particularly demanding and another record year. We provided utility assistance to a record 637 families, allocating a total of $60,047.16

Our unwavering mission is to step in where needed, ensuring our neighbors never have to go without essential services.

How to Receive Utility Assistance

Please call 706-327-0838, between the hours of 10am and Noon, Monday through Friday. A volunteer will take your application over the phone.

Have your account number ready, as this helps complete the application.

WNN helps with the last (up to) $100 of your past due bill. For example, if your past due bill was $150, you would need to pay the $50 before we could pay the $100.

Utility assistance is available once a calendar year.
